Our Approach

We don't just find a teacher. We take the worry off your hands.

Anyone can introduce a tutor. What sets the House apart is everything around the lessons — held by the founders, every week and every term, so your child's progress is never left to chance.

Most tutoring ends when the lesson does. Ours doesn't. The work is planned, watched and adjusted by us between every session — so your child keeps moving forward.

How we match

The right teacher, chosen by method.

Most agencies match on two things: the subject, and who's free. We start somewhere more useful — with how your child actually learns — and we do it the same way for every family.

i.

We build a learning profile

Before we propose anyone, we look past the grade: how your child organises and focuses, how they respond when work gets hard, how they revise, and how they handle exam pressure — set against where they are versus their target.

ii.

We assess it the same way every time

Those answers run through a structured framework we apply to every child, drawing on established principles of how students learn. The match rests on evidence about your child's needs — not a gut feeling, and not whoever happens to be free.

iii.

We match strengths to needs

Every teacher on our roster has a documented teaching profile. We pair your child's priorities with the teacher whose strengths genuinely meet them — then confirm the fit in the first lessons and adjust if anything needs to change.

The detail of the method is our own. The principle isn't a secret: the right teacher for your child is a decision we make with evidence — and one we can explain to you in writing.

The unit of commitment

We work in terms, not lessons.

No ten-lesson countdown, no awkward renewal at lesson nine. Engagements run on the school term — scoped to your child, reviewed in person at the end, and re-shaped for what comes next.

— The shape of a term
Twelve weeks. Two instalments. Three founder-led conversations.
The cadence within a term is built around the child — weekly, twice-weekly, or more intensive close to exams. The structure around it stays the same for every family.
Week 0

The term is scoped

A written proposal: the named teacher, the objectives, the weekly cadence and the instalment schedule. Nothing begins until you've accepted it.

Week 6

Mid-term review call

A founder-led call: are the objectives on track, is the cadence right, anything to adjust before the second half?

Week 12

Strategy review, in person

We sit down at your home with the teacher's report and mock-score history to review the term and scope the next — or close it cleanly.

Term break

Continuity held

The teacher is held for your return, notes are written up, and next term's plan is drafted before you're asked to commit.

How you experience us

You always know where things stand.

A documented rhythm of contact, most of it coming from one of the founders — so you never have to chase, and never have to wonder.

Same day

Session summary

By 10pm on the day of every lesson, a short written summary lands in your portal: what was covered, what was struggled with, what comes next.

Weekly

Founder review

One of us reads every summary for every family, and acts on any slippage — a late summary, a missed session, a mock score not moving — before you have to.

Monthly

Progress call

A scheduled call with one of the founders: a considered review of the whole picture, not a status update from the teacher.

Termly

Strategy review

An in-person review at your home at the end of each term — the conversation that shapes what comes next.

The case manager, not the matchmaker

What we do between the lessons.

Finding the right teacher is where it starts, not where it ends. From there, the planning, the watching and the chasing are ours — never yours.

i.

We hold the academic plan

The teacher delivers against a plan we've written with you — objectives, exam-board scope, milestones. We own the arc, not the tutor.

ii.

We audit every session

A founder reads every summary, every week. Thin notes, dropping engagement, slipping scores — flagged and acted on early.

iii.

We translate both ways

"She's not engaging" becomes specific instructions for the teacher; a teacher's concern becomes a calm, contextualised conversation with you.

iv.

We coordinate the outside

School reports read and absorbed into the plan; head-of-year contact where useful; the things parents want delegated but have nowhere to delegate.

v.

We hold the continuity

Dubai is a transient market. When a teacher leaves, you don't start over — we already have handover notes, a replacement and a plan.

vi.

We're the call on a Sunday

A tutor falls ill before mocks; a child melts down about exams; a parent needs reassurance. The teacher can't and shouldn't handle these. We can.

And we stand behind every match. If a teacher is ever not right, we introduce a replacement within seven days, at our cost — with continuity notes already in hand, so the work doesn't skip a beat.

A worked example

Year 11 · iGCSE Biology · target grade A · spring term.

Week 0

Scoped

Free consultation, then a written proposal: a named teacher, twelve weekly 90-minute sessions, Edexcel Paper 2 focus, mocks in the final fortnight.

Weeks 1–6

The work begins

Lessons in-home; a same-day summary by 10pm; a founder reads every one; the school report reviewed at week three and folded into the plan.

Week 6

Mid-term call

A founder-led call with you: objectives on track, cadence right, anything to adjust. The plan refined for weeks seven to twelve.

Week 12

Strategy review

A founder visits your home. Teacher's report, mock-score history, our commentary. The summer term is scoped — or the engagement closes cleanly.
